just got off the phone w/ shanus- the first time i've talked to him since the whole j'belle fiasco. teh bastid is going to backpack around europe for a month.
*grumblegrumble* i want to go so bad i could die!

he asked me how i'm doing, & i was startled by the truth that fell out of my mouth- i said "art sales have been slow, so hopefully they'll pick up soon & then i'll feel like i have a reason to live again." sigh. i'm so moody & melancholy lately- not my usual giddy, happy self. got the january blahs.

i need an adventure on the horizon... something to look forward to- something to shoot for, to make happen. rome & greece in the fall, anyone? say... september/october-ish- not too hot, not too crowded, off-season rates, & the grape harvest for the making of teh vino. i know fabuLor wants to go with me...

in the meantime, what'll i do? i'm off tomorrow...
-work on new painting of riomaggiore
-work on purse for charity auction
-cut mats for 'she rises to meet him' prints for jH20
-finish other crafty projects for jH20
-clean tub & wash dishes
-move fish tank & TV
-nap w/ kitty
