RECENTLY I HAVE:
...had a dream about my first love, CJ
...eaten at the nicest italian restaurant in town (Garibaldi's, the swordfish is unbelievable)
...met the italian professor of USC and made friends with him (extremely charming brilliantly italian older gentleman) (i showed him my paintings & he said that i had truly captured the essence of the italian culture= best compliment ever)
...co-hosted an all female dinner party, 'twas a smashing success (i should not invite boys more often;)
...made homemade ice cream (OMG delicious & i can't believe i didn't break into the leftovers at all yesterday)
...played scrabble (whaddya mean 'no italian words allowed'?!?)
...eaten my weight in raw oysters, crab legs & sushi (green dragon roll, i love you)
...smashed at least 100 tiny snails against the walls of my aquarium (they make the most satisfying "p-ekk!" it's become a real hobby- this Holocaust of the Gastropods, public executions held twice daily on all walls of the tank)
...dressed as a 1960's spy slut and hit every bar in the 5 Points area ('twas good for my ego)
...dressed as a ghost, charlie brown style, and gone to see a TERRIBLE play (sleepy hollow sans Rand & me, also good for my ego)
...finished 2 paintings (photos coming soon)
...all but stopped talking to Angelo (no time to chat these days!)
...started packing/shopping for Amsterdam (!!!11!!!!1!!!)
...landed a solo show in Charleston for next year (ha-cha-CHA!)
...bought new business cards (first time i've ever PAID for them. i usually make them.)
...gained 10 lbs from all the wine, beer & sake that Leila makes me drink (twists my arm, she does)
& now i'm off to go do stuff & more stuff, & then oops, i've double-booked myself for this evening. ah well, Shane can wait- i miss my boyfriend.
