aaaaaaaaaiiiiiiii! they got me & they got me good. lynn, the goddess of baked goods, called me earlier this week to invite me to dinner thursday night- & she said she had someone she wanted me to meet. a boy- cute, but not datable (too young, she said), but she thought we'd like each other & enjoy hanging out. so here i am thinking "cute, non-datable boy... what's the point? i already have FRIENDS." so i go over there yesterday anyway to meet this "Calvin"... & OMG! i'm in loooooove!
Mr. Calvin is a wee orange kitteh, 'bout 3 months old & supa-cool! lynn was right, we hit it off famously, as teh gatto is wont to do w/ handsome kittehs.
it was so much fun to watch the him w/ the kids, b/c they're all about the same age & have that same wide-eyed delight about the world- that delicious playful curiosity which is the very embodiment of wheee! we all gathered around westerby's train set & played our little hearts out... ah, good times, good times.
i almost missed dinner b/c i was so enraptured by calvin. & i couldn't pay attention to dinner conversation b/c every 2 minutes an orange streak would go scampering by, trailing the yellow ribbon i had given him- first in one direction, then back the other way. it was hilarious. & very distracting.
it was an all-around Evening of Cute, b/c during bedtimes prayers mr. westerby included me in his "God Bless..." Request List. that munchkin adores me. it's good to be adored. especially by a munchkin.
oh, & the woman who copied my print? it turns out that she wanted 3 copies signed... so it was a bit more $$ than the $20 i was expecting. she wrote me a very kind & apologetic letter, & i have seen it in my benevolent heart to forgive her. she was in a time crunch & didn't know what else to do. so i wrote her a letter of pardon & thanks (a good RAWK star is always kind to the little people), included several business cards, & told her to sign up for my mailing list to stay abreast of news & current events. i'll try to get more prints of the unitarian church made, b/c it seems that i can really capitalize off those peeps... they love that building. & well, it IS magnificent, which is why i photographed it...
soooo... i'm swamped at work, as you can imagine after being out sick for 3 days. i had 130 emails yesterday, & i managed to get to about half of them. JAMES L. COCHRANE of Boca Raton, FL still hasn't given up & is trying to bait me into a fight w/ his non-sensical insults. i really have no clue what he's talking about now... he really should get back on those meds...
& that's all for now- e' tutto.
except for this: aaaaaaaaaangeloooooooooo! mi manchi!
ciao & miao!
