AKIRA is awesome. I love AKIRA. He's done some crazy good shit really. For example "SIGNAL". And quite a lot of Morning Musume songs. He did W's "Jinx". He also did "Make U Wet" and "LOVE or LIKE". I love AKIRA, I'm gonna marry AKIRA one day. I think that we can say for sure (at least to 99%) now that "w/o notice??" won't be a ballad. Definitely doesn't sound like it at least. I have never heard of an "n" before. I'm actually wondering if that's not a typo? Honestly I would have prefered for Kazuya to write his own lyrics to this song, but hell. As if he has time with that? Definitely not. ^^;
Of course Jin would though, which makes me sure of that we won't be disappointed. I googled for "Adrian Newman" and "Jade Macrae" to find out who they were. And apparently Newman is pretty big. Macrae is a soul singer. And Yuya Saito? No idea. Hahahaha. Anyway, I think this will be something like "ha-ha meets Murasaki" actually. Either way he'll dance, that I'm sure of.
Never heard of a NAO either. Micro does sounds familiar, but Nagacho and RYLL are all new people to me. So I don't know what I expect from this really. It still sounds like a ballad to me so I won't get my hopes up.
JØKER ... this is funny. Did you know that Ø is the Danish way of writing the letter Ö? Which pronounced somewhat like "a". As in "a table". Hahaha, that's pretty funny. Anyway. I'm not surprised at all that Koki wrote his own lyrics - would have disappointed if he hadn't. Atsushi sounds RIDICULOUSLY familiar - but I'm thinking that maybe I'm thinking of EXILE's Atsushi? I don't know, I like that name anyway. And, haha. Come on. Axel-G? Axel-G is awesome. This song will be awesome, I'm sure of it.
Tatsuya writing lyrics and music? Seriously - did we expect something else? Definitely not. But this combination... Tatsuya and ha-j? It kills me. ha-j is so amazing. He's like... He did "Le Ciel 5nin version". And he did "PRECIOUS ONE". And he did "FREEZE". ha-j is my hero. I love that guy so much - not as much as FLYING GRIND but alomst. I'm thinking that this song will be like "Love in Snow" though. For some reason I get that feeling when he has written the music as well. Piano, piano. Man I'm looking forward to this.
I'm a bit indifferent to Yucchi writing lyrics really. He never impressed me - except for with "JINX" but that wasn't his song, hahaha. But I hope this will be an uptempo, danceable song. I have no idea of who Tanaka 直 is though so I can't really say "he has done this and that" because I don't know, haha. But judging by the title - SMACK - and how it's in big letters and such I really think it will be uptempo. Here's hoping.
Overall I look forward to Kazuya's, Jin's, Koki's and Tatsuya's the most. If Junno's is uptempo and has a low key I will love that too. Something like "Seishin"? Please. And I would love it if Yucchi's was like "JINX". But who knows.
Either way I'm looking forward to this. It amuses me how they write some credits in English and some in Japanese. I wanna know why they do that.
And the covers. The covers are... good. They're acceptable. Better than those for "LIPS" but not better than the ones for "Keep the Faith". Just the face like that... it really looks crappy. I realised as soon as we found out, that on the different limited edition singles the guys with solos would stand out a bit and making their heads bigger is one way to do that. And I know I asked for light covers - I got light covers. I guess I should remember to ask for light, good covers the next time. This looks really... I mean. I could do much better in photoshop. But then again, it's a step in the right direction so I won't hold it against them.
But please, just their heads? God. -_-; Oh. And one more thing: Kazuya's hat. Hahahaha. He's so cute. ♥ I hope he'll have it in the PV.
