Conclave 2007
From Wed-Sun I was in Atlanta attending SigEp's 50th biannual Conclave. It was an incredible experience. There were over 1300 people in attendance. I met people from all over, attended luncheons, dinners, awards ceremonies, listened to speeches, took yoga classes, went to presentations, took part in discussions, did ritual with 1000 brothers, and of course...sat in hours and hours of delegation.
During one Luncheon, Alumni together pledged almost $17 Million to the Education Foundation. It was incredible. It really solidified in me an understanding of what a lifelong commitment is.
I can't wait for the next one in 2009...it's in Orlando!
