I made a buncha Olympic icons from Gymnastics (including one Nadia Comaneci) and, because I was influenced by all the talk on my flist, Swimming. But seriously, ladies, why squee over Ian/Michael where there is Ian/Michael/Pieter staring you in the face?

May I ask, though, where you got the wonderful recent shots of the different athletes? And I have to say that the presence of mini-movies is even more stunning.

Thanks! A bunch of the pictures were from GettyImages, which has excellent coverage of the Olympics save for the Evil Watermarks. the NBC Olympics site has a few GettyImages pictures without the watermarks, some of the Michael Phelps and the Paul Hamm was stuff I scanned in from my TIME magazine (I'm not sure if they do, but you can check their website to see if they have the pictures up). Hope that helps!
