AIDS Marathon Entry 1
I've decided to run the AIDS Marathon in December in Honolulu. It's 26.2 miles that I'll have to run, but it's for a great cause. I kept seeing the brochure at the gym so I decided to pick it up and get some information. I've always wanted to help in the fight for AIDS so this is my way of doing so. I have to admit that I am a bit intimidated by the fundraising that I'm going to have to do. I have to raise $3,000 by the end of August. It's scarry but totally possible with the help of family and friends. It's funny that I seem to be more intimidated by raising money than running 26 miles. I think i'll have a lot of people helping me though. I'll be updating this journal too as I go along and let everyone know my progress with running and fundraising. I'll also link the address to my webpage where people can donate when I get it. All donations are tax deductible also. If anyone has any ideas about raising cash let me know.
