I loved the episode, though as a Rome fan, I admit I spent part of it wondering what the TARDIS was doing in Atia's mansion.
I'm definitely wondering how this one plays into the finale. We've now had two references to the Shadow Proclamation, as well as two references to planets being "lost," and knowing RTD, this can only end badly.
I just had a thought and added it to my entry, re: the shadow proclamation and how they will be instrumental in forcing the Doctor to make some sort of really awful choice.
And yes, the planets being lost reference... makes me feel all sort of crack-tastic thoughts.
It does look really ominous for the Doctor. I fear that it's all going to come crashing down for him at the end of this season, and much as I want to see his actions have consequences, I worry how he's going to handle it.
