Last night I had a dream. I mention it because generally I don't remember my dreams, and those that I do remember, are usually quite nonsensical. Last night's was different. Though I dreamt it in the middle of the night, and forgot about it until I was halfway through my shower this morning, the images in my brain are as sharp and fresh as if I'd seen them for real:
Just one week after the ceasefire, Karmiel was being bombed again by katyushas. I stood on a hill in an adjacent neighborhood and watched as tens of katyushot fell on my city. I could see the plumes of smoke from each hit. One even fell at the base of the hill I stood on.
Then I woke up.
