Being assertive can get you far. I went from laying down everything that was wrong with my workplace and pointing out all of their wrongings, followed by putting in my 2 weeks, to rich(the owner of the whole complany) to him giving me a raise which (now $8.00 hr) and four months back pay of the raises that never went through and i am now a closing manager at only 18, and working there for a mere 9 months. Yes i rock i do know...
