The Causeway: Saturday Afternoon
It was a busy day for Layla but there was one more duty she had to perform. One that would affect Fandom Island forever.
She made the trek out to the causeway, lugging along a giant boombox that appeared to have been built in the early 1980s. When she got to the causeway she pressed the play button and raised the boom box above her head.
And the CD in said Boombox began to play "The 100 Best Funk Songs Ever Recorded".
It was a rather loud boombox. Louder than one might think. And while other people might hear the greatest funk songs ever written and recorded, Layla Miller only cared about one person in particular.
