I'm glad that's over with. If I'd been stuck like that for much longer I wouldn't have had anything in my size to change into...

[And there's a creak of his wardrobe door being opened and a squeal that sounds suspiciously like a pig along with a cry of horror from Christopher.]

My suits!

You've got to find it funny, otherwise you'd just go about your day irritated.

I didn't think pigs got at clothes, though. But then again, we only ever had chickens and gnomes.

I don't mind so much really, I've already fixed them, but it does seem rather a waste of magic to be constantly mending clothes.

Well, either griffins and pigs have different tastes, or there's something about my suits that says 'dinner' to them.

Unless you enchant a needle and thread to do it themselves. Then you don't have to think about it too much, yeah?

[Long pause. Oh, it's too good to pass up.]

... Maybe it just means the pig's got good taste in clothes.

Not quite that type of mending.

[Even longer pause. Oh, he might as well play along.]

Maybe he does indeed.

[Thankfully Ginny knows how horrible of a crack that was but... yeah. Sob.]

Then what sort of mending? I mean, I realise our magic's different in a few ways.

Willing it back to how it was before and it just happens? That's more or less how enchanter's magic works.

Must be convenient, that. No wands or spells, then? We'd need to use a Reparo charm for a similar effect.

We can use wands or spells, it's how some of the other magic users back home do things. But our magic tends to be different to theirs.
