KILL THE FLY
So i'm in a class witch a professor i like to call Fruity McFruitcake. Right now i would like to squish fruity mcfruitcake like a fruity fly with some citric fruity acid. ugh this man bores me. we're reviewing for our "final". aka just our last regular test...and then we have no more classes...wtf?
anyway
so borders wasnt what i expected. since its the holidays they trained me on registers first. actually there were four of us in the training group, which was kind of fun, sorta. there was this really nice quiet lesbian, who used to be a gym teacher, a technologically deficient mom, a really annoying vegan married college girl who thought she was all that, and me. we read the "employee handbook" with our trainer guy. it wasnt that bad, just really long. then we had a tour of the store, and i learned that borders isnt as disorganized as it always seemed. i also learned how capitalist it is as a corporation. i also learned why the borders card is better than the barnes and noble card. i get basically an hour off for a five hour shift. two ten minute breaks plus a half hour lunch break. fab. then we learned how to use the cash registers. i'm really nervous because there's alot to remember you have to do. demag stuff, ask for the card, how they want to pay for it, do they qualify for discounts, are they using rewards, my own login codes and codes for some books. it'll be fine after the first couple of days, but its those couple of days that i am dreading. i start on the floor on wednesday. aka tomorow. gulp. itll be fun.
so i was right and antartica did visit us. and it doesnt look like it's leaving. dammit. its pretty but i hate it. winter is nature's paris hilton.
so the semester is almost over. and i'm uber excited.
