I've always known that thoughts can manifest great things. However the part of my brain that lives in the real world knows thoughts alone won't do a whole lot to affect the physical world.
I was trying to find a happy medium between the two. In my search I cam across an interesting lecture on linguistics and philosophy by Noam Chomsky, which opened my eyes, or ears rather to some interesting points and is well worth a listen if your into that sort of thing.
In my search I was able to find a bit of enlightened information that reconciled it for me.
Now... Humm... Damn morals.

The idea that "thoughts become things" is just another (rather mystical) way of defining "ambition". The wealthy have always known that you can have whatever you want, all you have to do is reach out and take it. What the wealthy LACK, is any sense of moral wrong-doing on their behalf. That's why 1% of the earth population controls 80%+ of the wealth... It's because the other 99% have morals!
