Friends are Truly the Greatest!
Friends, and I mean GOOD friends are very few and far between, but they are truly one of the greatest gifts that God has given us.
After all of the hell of this past week and all of the anger and frustration leading up to it and its end (not the end of the week, just the end of the hell), I am in one of the best moods I have been in for weeks.
I am free of the children I was keeping. Diana is definitely in the American Idol finals next week. I finally got to talk to Jay for an extended period of time tonight. And, most importantly, I realized how much I am loved by someone other than Jay.
Friends that truly know you and know what make you tick and cry are the best and always know what to do and say to brighten the worst of times. Tonight I got to watch this weeks American Idol results show with Meigan and her dog Zoe. She made me cookies, let me play with Zoe all night, and she had the cutest little turtle figurine ever.
She really knew what I needed and what would make me put these past few days fully in my past.
I just wanted to take the time to tell her thanks for everything. I'm sorry it took so long for us to put everything behind us. But then again I'm not, because we still would never have been this close any sooner. I'm so happy that we worked through everything and got to where we are today. Again, thank you so much for confronting me a few months ago. I will never be able to say that enough. I love you!
