SO, Nissimenachem saved the day, we got 3100NIS from him, and re-bought all the stuff. So I got the same sunglasses, a new DS, and a new MP3. With improvements. I bought an ARCHOS 605 this time cuz the 404s are nowhere to be found (haha, internet joke, haha.) so now I have an even larger screen, 800x480 resolution holy hell, touch screen, and wi-fi. I loaded all of Lucky Star on it, and watched it in two days.
Awesome show. People compare it to Azumanga Daiou....but Azumanga is a show about SPECIFFIC characters and what happens to them. Lucky Star has avatars in it. It doesn't really matter what happens to Konata or Miyuki. Nothing ever happens in that show anyway. The show is not about them. It's about US.
Sure, japanese otakus will find it easier to relate to. But it's about the little things in life, that we ALL know. About how you can't wake up in the morning so you ask your mom to wake you up, and she does, and you fall back asleep and later you can't remember that it happened.
Or how you write a REALLY long blog post, and then you press submit and it 404's you. So you press back and it says the page has expired. GAWD I HATE THAT.
So in a way, it's like Seinfeld. Only with four lovable japanese schoolgirls rather than four middle aged idiots you can't help but hate.
And with even LESS plot.
The DS is back, btw. Only it's white instead of black, and the SuperCard supports SDHC. Also, I bought a Slot 2 supercard so I can have infinite GBA games as well n.n
Apollo Justice. It came out, I beat it in two days. Hawhaw.
It pwns. Doesn't fail the rest of the series one bit.
On one hand the last chapter was shorter than usual and slightly disappointing. But the game more than makes up for it for having NO bad cases. If fact, not one of the chapters was anything short of awesome.
Plus, Trucy is a way cuter assistant than Ema or Maya, and the percieve system is pure win.
So right now I'm sabbathing, and it's march 14th. Which means that tomorrow is march 15th 2008 - the 10th anniversary for RPGism.
10 whole years have passed since I was enlightened by BoF2 into the world of all things yayful.
To celebrate, I'm playing BoF2 again. I'm sabbathing, so it's perfect :D
The real SHOS tho, is the fact that I'm playing it IN JAPANESE.
About time I find out how the original is.
Now that I have a slot2 card, I can play anything I want~
I think I finally know enough Japanese to play it.
......knowing the whole english dialogue by heart helps, too x3
I'm gonna start being one of those obnoxious idiots who insist on using the original names for everything.
So Katt will be Rinpoo, Bow is Bosche, Spar is Aspara-gus, TagWoods is TULGEY WOODS (OMG YES ALICE IN WONDERLAND REFERENCE), BoltX is Valhalla, And Jean is Tapeta.
.....No wait, Tapeta stinks. I'll stick to Jean.
OMFG I'm a citizen in 5 months.

Back to BoF2 now. I'm in SimaFort, err, I mean, Swimmer Castle now.
