I beat Phoenix Wright 2.

In two days. Zero walkthrough help.
Ha!

I think the first one was better. It just kept me guessing until the very last moment. Here things were a little more predictable, I think.
But then again, I don't think a comparison is needed. It's like Kill Bill - the go together. I treat them as one piece of art that is to be criticized as a whole.

....but only after I've played the third game. When it comes out.

Some people complained that the games are too linear and easy.
Which they are.
BUT!
This game isn't a quest, adventure game, or Court Simulator, as some tend to classify it.
It's a graphic novel.
Yes, a very interactive and INCREDIBLY original and creative one at that, but a graphic novel, nontheless.
Novels are supposed to be read completely.
I, for one, know that if I kept getting stuck for weeks on every trial, I'd stop playing the game.
It's not supposed to become a tedious task....it just keeps you involved, to make sure you're following. But graphic novels never pose a serious challenge as a game. Those who play Phoenix Wright just to test their mad skillz, missed the whole point - a great story.

And to that, I can only say...

"OBJECTION!"

Tomorrow I Gaia.
Thursday I music.
Then it's back to the base for two more days.
Gotta find a game to tackle by then or it's a sabbath of forced sleep for me :/
