Book 11 is the Death Cure by James Daschner
Summary From BandN.com:
"Thomas knows that Wicked can't be trusted, but they say the time for lies is over, that they've collected all they can from the Trials and now must rely on the Gladers, with full memories restored, to help them with their ultimate mission. It's up to the Gladers to complete the blueprint for the cure to the Flare with a final voluntary test.
What Wicked doesn't know is that something's happened that no Trial or Variable could have foreseen. Thomas has remembered far more than they think. And he knows that he can't believe a word of what Wicked says.
The time for lies is over. But the truth is more dangerous than Thomas could ever imagine.
Will anyone survive the Death Cure?"
My Thoughts:
This is the final book in the Maze Runner Trilogy. I liked the first book best. The second was ok and the the third was good. I liked the ending. It was unsettling, but real.

Book 12 is Across the Universe by Beth Revis
Summary From BandN.com:
"Amy is a cryogenically frozen passenger aboard the vast spaceship Godspeed. She expects to awaken on a new planet, 300 years in the future. But fifty years before Godspeed's scheduled landing, Amy's cryo chamber is unplugged, and she is nearly killed.
Now, Amy is caught inside an enclosed world where nothing makes sense. Godspeed's passengers have forfeited all control to Eldest, a tyrannical and frightening leader, and Elder, his rebellious and brilliant teenage heir.
Amy desperately wants to trust Elder. But should she? All she knows is that she must race to unlock Godspeed's hidden secrets before whoever woke her tries to kill again."
My Thoughts:
I loved this book. A lot. I was emotioanlly attached to the characters throughout and I can't wait to read the next book in the series. ELder is a wonderful male character. A lot of YA have a "damsel in distress" that needs to be rescued by a shallow "prince." Elder felt like a real guy who had real feelings and conflicts. Amy wasn't a plain DiD, either. It was a nice change from the usual cliches.
