updates, updates!!!
haven't been able to write an entry for a while... was busy... happily busy ;)
was able to pull through w/ the 2nd part of the training... we're in transition now and i experienced taking in calls last friday afternoon. luckily, all i had to do then was greet the caller, verify their account information then ask them to call back after an hour since the system tools are undergoing maintenance at that time.
anyways, enough about work... *wink* *wink*
i mentioned in some of my previous entries that i was "going out" w/ one of my co-trainees... well, since he has a lj acct, let's now refer to him as
debonairdan :)
what has happened since my last lj entry about him/us?
november 30 - i offered him a ride since the dentist he's going to is in my village. after his dental appointment, i fetched him and then "saved"
sucia_baila from her 'boring' christmas party @ the Gazebo Royale and had dinner @ Inyo, along E. Abada St., Loyola Heights. the place, ambiance & food was good and a bit pricey but we enjoyed our visit. we hung out @ my besty's house(even if there's an advisory to go and stay home that night 'coz of the coming storm... w/c didn't really pass through the metro) 'til around 2am, i think.
december 1 - we didn't have work/training 'coz of the anticipated storm but the sun shone brightly that day. that evening we had supper @ KFC, Gateway where i saw
aipsndip and our miriam batchmate, Digna, and watched Borat out of curiosity and boredom. after the movie, we met up w/ my batchmates for a while then decided to have dinner so i brought him to A Taste of L.A. somewhere in the Timog/Scout area where we had spinach pizza, and some alcohol ;) then we went to Starbucks @ Temple Drive for coffee then hung out for a while outside one of my gay friends' house ;)
december 2 - met up w/ him near NHA and had dinner @ SR Thai along Katipunan. we hung out @ the AS parking lot in UP then eventually decided to try Xocolat along B. Gonzales St., Loyola Heights. Their tablea/hot choco's goooood! and so is the pasta & cold drink he ordered :) plus the place had a cozy feel pa! ;)
december 4 - CVG's christmas party @ the World Trade Center in Manila. the food was kinda bad and there were just too many people! twas a good thing that one of our co-trainees insisted to go drinking instead. we ended up @ Marina, just in front of the party venue. our about half of our wave was there and the nice part was, i had free drinks! hehehe... i haven't received my atm card at that time and i was literally broke, and my co-trainees knew that so they shouldered my cocktails ;p hahaha... after our drinking session, i drove like a madwoman 'coz the streets were temptingly traffic-congestion free! ;) we dropped of 4 other co-trainees in 3 different places before we could have "our" time. thanks to the alcohol, we were more relaxed and a bit free of our usual inhibitions *wink* *wink*
december 5 - haha... you should check out what
debonairdan put on as his calendar entry for this day on his cellphone! neways, we ate @ Jack's loft in Galleria and watched Deck the Halls :)
december 6 - went w/ him to check on their house, which was being renovated/repainted, in Pag-asa. I saw picture of him when he was younger and I got to meet one of his sisters. had dinner @ Bento box along Katipunan:)
december 7 - almost got caught by some co-trainees hhww @ galle ;p
december 8 - hung out for a while in Shangri-la
december 9 - make-up training class from 7am... left around 6pm and had dinner @ Fazoli's @ Eastwood. *** it's official, we're a couple! *** met up w/ ann, and had blue margarita w/ free sisig @ Somethin' Fishy. ;)
december 11 - stressful day: proficiency! ate @ Jack's Loft & hung out in galle for a while then dropped him off @ Shang before proceeding to manila to fetch my mom
december 12 - stressful day: proficiency! de-stressed by having a bowling re-match @ Skybowl in Galle: i still won --- 144-65 & 129-123 ;p had dinner @ Burgoo, did his grocery shopping and stayed @ Bo while waiting for
sucia_baila. Introduced him to my "adoptive parents", received chocolates from my besty's mom and hung out in Loyola Heights before going home :)
december 13 - stressful day: proficiency & graduation! ate @ Sushiya after work before joining some of our co-trainees and our trainer for drinks @ Jack's Loft where we or rather he was put on the hot seat about "us". by the end of that session, nobody got any confirmation on our current status ;p hung out @ Loyola Grand Villas before finally going home to greet my dad who flew in from Vietnam
december 14 - transition day 1: twas okay... although my head ached from info overload. had lunch @ Sushiya (again) w/ 2 other co-trainees. afterwork, went w/ him to Pag-asa to get the bills and paid them @ SM North. had dinner @ Oody's and hung out 'til around 9pm.
december 15 - transition day 2: my first day to take calls! 5 calls in 1.5 hours... mind-boggling & kinda scary! had lunch @ Chef D' Angelo then had a li'l chat w/ our transition team lead after work before going to Shangri-la. ate @ Frio Mixx and watched The Producers then ate (again) @ California Pizza Kitchen ;) had a hard time getting a cab home around 11pm that we ended up walking from EDSA to Shaw to One San Miguel back to Shangri-la then Mega Strip where we rested for a while @ Starbucks then tried to get a cab along EDSA again, then Julia Vargas. we got a cab around 130am already!
december 16 -
tiang hosted a christmas party @ her house. before going there, he had dinner @ Jack's Loft along Wilson in San Juan (chicken fingers & deep fried ice cream... yum!) sangria & rum coke kinda got him. hahaha... he was so cute w/ his flushed face! (the same one he had when he drank almost half of the blue margarita pitcher @ eastwood) ;p
today will be the start of our night shift: 9pm to 6am... it's a good thing we have the same sched, at least i have something... or rather someone, to look forward to @ work ;)
