My name is Ellen,49 years old, and I live in the Netherlands. I had my first camera when I was 10 years. My first digital camera I have since 2 years. Art was always part of my life. I have been on the school for arts here in Holland, but didn't finish it. Painting and drawing was my favourite thing to do. I have worked with mentally handicapped children, it was really nice to have had that opportunity. Religion is also important in my life. I became a christian at age 21 and I hope my photo's will show some of Gods beautiful creation.
I love macro-photography, specially ladybirds. Because they are such nice models :) Flowers is also a favourite subject. I have 2 macro-lenses; Canon 50mm. 2.8 and a Sigma 150mm. 2.8. My camera's are canon 350D and also Canon 30D. My biggest wish is to photograph wild life, and hope to be able to do that one day. Birds I have photographed a lot too. I use my 70-300 canon IS lens for that, or my Sigma 135-400mm.
For my macro-photography I just bought a ring-flash. Almost all my photo's I shoot out of hand, don't use a tripod in most cases. The last 2 years I started to learn more about photoshop. I really think its a good tool to make my photo's look better.
