Summary: Koki and Yuichi has become well-known pirates, their job is treasure hunting and what they hunt were for a good cause. But they weren't just the pirates in the town. How will they overcome their upcoming opponents? and does "Kings of Pirates" really deserve to be them? *uwaaaa~ i wanna hide! i really suck at summaries*
“Ne, Yucchi, what’s keeping you busy these past few days?” Koki asked when Yuichi sat beside him, joining him to watch TV. “Uwaaa~ I missed you so much, we haven’t hang-out for three long days. I miss our moments.” Koki hugged Yuichi which made the latter jump and freed himself from the hug.
“Baka, you see me every day. And what moments are you talking about?” he poked the others’ cheek. “And besides, we live in the same house.” Yuichi said, not looking at the other. He somehow felt awkward because of the hug, but he was trying his best not to show it.
“I know, but we haven’t hang-out already. You know the two of us. When we don’t have missions, you lock yourself in the room or go out. Pfft!” Koki said, annoyed and crossed his arms.
“Don’t worry already. I’m not busy right now. So, we can hang out.” Yuichi grinned at him that made Koki turn to him and beam.
Their favorite show has finally aired. And they watched the entire hour watching TV. They laughed at some parts of the show. Koki was really happy. It was only three days, but it felt like such long time that he felt happy with his best friend. He is also the talkative type of person, and when he has no one to talk to, it feels boring.
When the show finally ended, they were both hungry. It was 8P.M. already, but they haven’t eaten, yet. Koki was too lazy to cook, and that job was Yuichi’s. And Yuichi couldn’t cook that time since his best friend was asking for his time and he somehow missed him, too.
“Ne~ let’s order some pizza, I’m hungry already!” Koki said while stretching his back.
“Okay, I’ll call.” Yuichi hurried to the phone and dialed the number.
Koki’s gaze followed him. He was smiling while looking at him. When Yuichi finished the call, he went back to his friend, and notices the smiling one looking at him.
“What’s with the look?” Yuichi asked him, looking at anything except for Koki’s gaze. He felt that his cheek were turning pink, flustered with embarrassment.
“How cute! Are you blushing there my dear Yucchi?” Koki teased him. He was enjoying it; he missed teasing his best friend like that, but then he dropped it. “So, ne~ what is it? Is it a hot chick?”
“What the hell are you talking about? And I am not blushing.” Yuichi stick his tongue out, still avoiding the others’ eyes.
“The one that’s been keeping you busy.” This time Koki’s gaze turned to the floor. He did not receive any answer. When he looked up to Yuichi, he was obviously holding his laugh and burst it out when Koki turned to look at him.
“Now, now, my dear Koki has a serious problem with jealousy here.” Koki blushed with embarrassment at what Yuichi has said. “Nope,” Yuichi suddenly interrupted Koki’s thoughts, “No time for that. We are busy pirates, after all.” And he just grinned at him.
“Sou… what is it?” Koki was still implying about what kept him busy.
Yuichi suddenly ran to his room, and was looking for something. When he showed up in the living room again, he proudly presented his new disguise, and left something at the floor. It was a black leather jacket with simple black jeans, and there was a t-shirt with a printed skull that the lower part of the skull is covered with a bandana. And under the skull on the shirt, there printed ‘King of Pirates’.
“I will add a bandana to cover my mouth, too.” Yuichi said. “And hey,” he turned to get the thing that he dropped earlier; “I also made you one.”
It was the same as Yuichi’s. The only difference is the printed skull that is wearing an eye-blindfold.
“So, do you like it?” He turned at the gaping Koki.
“Ne, does that mean that I can use my blindfold?” Koki asked.
“No,” which made Koki pout a little and Yuichi continued, “but you can use this.” He showed the eye-blindfold he hid in his pocket. It was a plain eye-blindfold, but Yuichi just added a heart on it.
“Uwaa~ this is pretty cute!” Koki commented when he saw it. Yuichi smiled at how happy his best friend looks. “Awesome! How did you do this Yuichi?” Koki asked him when he got his leather jacket and shirt.
“I bought the shirt and then, I asked Ueda to print the skulls for me, then as for the leather jacket, I made them. Your blindfold, I just got yours and draw a heart on it.” Yuichi grinned, though Koki is still looking at his disguise with twinkling eyes. “And for the jeans, well, it’s just what I usually use. So, you can use one from your wardrobe, too.”
“Eh?? But, I also want jeans that look like yours.” Koki suddenly said, disappointed.
“Then, I’ll try to make you one.”
“Ne~ Yucchi, I think you have a hand of a goddess! You are good at cooking and suddenly I knew that you are also good at sewing. You have a girl’s hand.” Koki commented which made Yuichi flinched at the word ‘goddess’, especially at the last sentence of the other. And it made Yuichi to look at his hands.
Yuichi then suddenly snatched the clothes from Koki’s hands and gone to the room with a heavy footsteps. Koki just frowned at the other’s sudden reaction, oblivious of what made his friend act like that.

“So boring!” Koki sighed and shouted because he was alone again at the house, sitting at the couch. There haven’t been missions the past few weeks. Kinki kids were not active lately which made Koki actually worry about them. They were the only opponents who never give up. Maybe, because they want to get the title as the only pirate-who-is-in-pair because, they hate being always compared to them. And until now, they haven’t succeeded of winning against them.
“Ahh… I wonder what’s bothering Yuichi now. He’s acting weird. He hasn’t talk to me since yesterday. Pfft… even just a greeting from him.” Koki was now talking to himself. He couldn’t do anything amusing on his day alone at the house.
The night since Yuichi has introduced their disguise, Yuichi hasn’t talked with Koki properly. “Something is really wrong.” Koki talked to the air, but he doesn’t care. Besides, he was alone now so no one would think that he’s a freak. “I think Yuichi is hiding something from me.” He then concluded.
“And I need to find out what it is.” Koki stood from the couch; he was really determined to dissect what his best friend’s problem is.
Meanwhile, Yuichi was at the park. He was thinking about something. And maybe, the park was the only place for him to think, because this problem is big. And the problem involves someone special to him. He opened the letter he got from his table in the room during the disguise night with his best friend. There was no label of whom it was from. He couldn’t even determine of how the letter got into their room. And he was sort of relieved that he was the one who got the letter; without his best friend. It was just a plain letter which contained:
Konichiwa! Yes, a lively greeting, right? Well, well, I have this lovely news to deliver to you, too, our dearest Nakamaru and Tanaka. Or should I call you the Kings of Pirates, already? But let me tell you this, it doesn’t suit you. I am the King of Pirates here, and no one shall get that title from me. So, now, let me tell you this news - I have Tanaka Juri with me. If you still want him alive, let Nakamaru Yuichi fetch him here, but I promise you he won’t come back. I’ll let him join my pirate gang. That’s the only trading I am asking from you if you want your dear brother alive, Tanaka-kun.

He folded the letter again, and rested his back and lay at the bench he’s been sitting. He was still thinking about what to do. It was all messed up. And the only bottom-line for this problem is the Kings of Pirates losing. He sighed, and decided to walk around the park, until he saw Koki approaching him, waving at him with grinning face.
“YUCCHI!!!” Koki called him when he spotted his friend standing from the bench he was from.
Yuichi hid the letter in his pocket when he saw the man, and just waved at him when he was finally standing in front him.
I’ve decided - I am going to save Juri’s life, no matter what. I’m sorry, Koki.
