Summary: Koki and Yuichi has become well-known pirates, their job is treasure hunting and what they hunt were for a good cause. But they weren't just the pirates in the town. How will they overcome their upcoming opponents? and does "Kings of Pirates" really deserve to be them? *uwaaaa~ i wanna hide! i really suck at summaries*
“Look at us Yucchi, we’re well-known pirates already.” Koki said while he was fixing something while looking at the mirror. When he finished, he turned his gaze to his friend beside the door reading a newspaper, but looked up when he noticed Koki.
“Baka, what’s with the one-eyed blindfold?” Yuichi walked to Koki and took off his blindfold and he received a harsh pat from the other. “And stop acting like Captain Hook!” Yuichi said when he saw his friend’s hand was hid under the sleeves with a hook on it.
Koki did not listen to him and he stole his one-eyed blindfold from his friend and turned to mirror to fix it again. Yuichi could not do anything and left the other alone.
“Ne~ Yucchi, should we switch our names into ‘Kings of Pirates’?” Koki suddenly suggested, beaming at his friend. He did not receive an answer. “Mou~ don’t you find my suggestion interesting?” Koki tried talking again and he finally got the other’s attention.
“Sheesh man, you always to change our name, yesterday it was ‘Rainbow Pirates’, the other day was ‘Blooming Pirates’ and now this,” Yuichi told him, annoyed. It made him more annoyed when he noticed that Koki wasn’t listening at all. He was at the desk and was writing something, a letter, maybe. Yuichi just sighed and walked to him.
“There, finally done,” Koki said, satisfied while Yuichi is behind him trying to read what he’s been writing. “I’ll drop this to the mail box and send it to Taguchi.” When Koki was about to run, Yuichi snatch the letter from Koki that made him stopped, but smiled while waiting for Yuichi’s reaction. He read it, and the letter was about the ship they were asking from Taguchi 3 years ago. Well, the ship was almost finished, then, Koki added to engrave a name on the ship with ‘Kings of Pirates’. Yuichi smiled at Koki and returned the letter to him.
“I’m glad that you finally made up your mind,” he said while patting the other’s shoulder, “but you can’t go out like that, idiot.” Yuichi pointed to Koki who is wearing his one-eyed blindfold, a bandana on his head, and an 18th century costume. “Baka!” he poked the other’s cheek and laughed and he turned his back. He did not receive any complaints that it actually made him worry, so he turned his gaze back to Koki who is smiling evilly.
“You did not possibly think that we will still be ourselves while looking for treasure from now on, didn’t you?” Koki is still grinning madly at Yuichi which, honestly, scared the latter. Then, Yuichi just had the what-the-hell-are-you-talking-about look. “Well, we need to be careful from now on, we can’t be caught by the cops, so… we need a disguise,” the grin on his face was still present, “don’t worry I already prepared yours.” Koki finished, feeling proud.
Koki ran to his room and looked for his friend’s disguise. When he got back to Yuichi, he proudly showed it to him. It is still from 18th century, but a… dress? He even matched it with a big crazy blonde wig. Yuichi was so surprised that he could not react, at first. When he finally absorbed the situation, he walked to Koki and TORE the dress, by his own bare hands! Koki was sort of disappointed that it didn’t seem to make his friend happy and started sulking. Yuichi was still at the state of shock, but he was happy that he finally got rid of THAT dress. He couldn’t imagine himself wearing it.
He looked for Koki; he wanted to knock him down for even thinking about something like that. “Oi! Don’t go making decisions on your-“he stopped when he saw that his friend was at the corner, sulking while hugging his legs. “Baka! Stop the drama, we’ll go on with the disguise thing, but I’ll choose my own outfit, okay?” he joined Koki at the corner who was still upset.
“I thought that you’d like it.” Koki said.
Yuichi heaved a deep sigh. “Come on dude. Were you really expecting that I’ll be wearing a girl’s dress as a disguise? That’s bringing my reputation down, you know, as a man.” He explained, but the other was still depressed. “And besides, our name is ‘Kings of Pirates’, so why let the other King wear a dress?” he tried again and emphasized especially the ‘Kings’ at his sentence. “Won’t be that confusing the people, especially those who likes us?” he was already losing hope on trying to cheer him up. Besides, it was also harsh tearing the dress into pieces. He should’ve just told him that he did not like it, end of discussion. Koki would have understand him-
“Sou ka…” Koki interrupted Yuichi’s thoughts and turned to him. “You’re right, so do you want something like mine?” Koki asked him, expecting a yes.
“No way, I told you already, I will choose my own.” Yuichi refused suddenly. Who would want to wear such THING at these times? He shivered at the thought of him wearing something like it. And Koki returned to his drama moments again. Yuichi just sighed and put his arms on the other’s shoulder, comforting him. “Come on now; let’s send the letter to Taguchi already.” Yuichi said pointing to the letter, feigning from the disguise issue. Koki suddenly stood up and went to his room to change into normal clothes. Yuichi smiled and waited for him at the couch.

Ring… Ring… Ring…
The telephone was ringing. It was noon already, but Koki and Yuichi were still asleep, tired of their activities last night. They fought with the Kinki Kids group to steal the treasure that they’ve found out. The Kings of Pirates is actually not the bad people here since the treasures they got were for the families of the members or sometimes, they donate it to poor people.
“Oi! Yucchi, answer the phone.” Koki threw a pillow at him to wake him up. Unfortunately, he wasn’t succeeding. “Tsk! What a trouble.” He hissed and got off the bed to answer the phone.
“Moshi moshi!” Koki answered the phone groggily. “Ah! Taguchi! What’s with the call at this early in the morning?” he complaint. Then, there was a long silence; he was listening well to the other line. “Maji de?” he exclaimed too loudly, the bedroom’s door was open that Koki’s voice waked Yuichi up.
When Koki hang up, he ran up to the room to deliver the news he received to Yuichi. He was too excited that he jumped up to Yuichi; he was sitting on his friend abdomen. Yuichi rubbed his eyes, and was surprised to his friend on top of him which made him blush. Koki didn’t mind it anyway, and he was still beaming at his friend.
“Get off me now, you’re heavy.” Yuichi tried to shove him off, but Koki dodged it. He was enjoying himself there. “Oi! What’s with the happy face?” he asked him, he was getting annoyed now.
“Get dress! We’re going to Taguchi!” Koki said too happy.
“As in now?” Yuichi asked, and he received a nod from the other. Finally, Koki got off him and walked to his wardrobe. “Why?” Yuichi still wanted to sleep that he covered his head with his pillow.
“The ship, he’s already done it.”
Yuichi suddenly sit up. “Really?” was all he could say. They were waiting for this. They were tired of using batches of boats to get to their opponents. They needed a ship, a big one.
* * * * *
“Sugoi!” Koki and Yuichi said in unison. They were amazed of how the ship looked like. It was thirty feet long and Taguchi built canons with it. It was generally rigged with a large mainsail which was attached to a spar above, to the mast on its foremost edge, and to a long boom below. It was a sloop, and at the side, there engraved ‘Kings of Pirates’.
“So… should I ask for the payment now?” Taguchi suddenly interrupted the two.
“Ehhhhh?” they both shouted.
