Okay so um I've been on this huge Natsume Yuujinchou binge after I marathoned half of the second season when I finished my work yesterday.
Everyone needs to watch it. Seriously. It's fucking fantastic.
Like, it's ridiculously relaxing. It's a really laid back series that's more about emotional stuff and it makes me bawl like a little girl and it's great to just watch on a lazy day. Like, it's all about emotions that everyone feels, like being lonely and wanting to be loved by someone else, and I cry or at least get misty every fucking episode but it's not bad crying.
...It's kind of like xxxHOLiC with less CLAMP bullshit and "wooooo, creeeepyyyyyyyy~" and more character interaction and heartwarming. And if Doumeki was a lucky cat, Yuuko was Watanuki's grandma, and he had homolust with Doumeki's grandpa.

........so in short it's like 5396730 times better than xxxHOLiC. (SORRY KARI BUT IT'S TRUE)
I kind of wish that I'd recommended it back in summer though, because the first series has a perfect summer ambiance that would just feel out of place when it's so fucking cold outside.
But I wouldn't read the manga first. It's a lot better as an anime.
so yeah. Go watch it. ...In summer.
and yeah it needs to get warm like now. I want to go outside.
