Well I've made some progress, which is nice. Going is slow, of course, but it's only been a week. I think it'd be a lot easier to eat healthfully if the gas in my building weren't turned off. I miss cooking so much! In any case, here's the current situation:
Weight: 199.4 lbs
Body Fat: 28.7%
BMI: Obese
Chest (inflated): 44.75"
Chest (deflated): 41"
Waist: 40.25"
I haven't had time to work up a cardio routine yet, so what I've done so far has been a result of weight training and dietary changes. I don't really feel like going on a "diet," but I am finding that I can considerably cut down on my portion sizes without being hungry. I'm also constantly reminding myself that being in shape will bring me more happiness (and less transitory happiness) than anyone thing I could eat.
