there is no top, there are always further heights to reach

The people in the video are Erin, Tea and Rie. They took me to Playland this weekend. I gotta admit I did way better than I thought I would. See, the thing is, I HATE heights. I barely made it to Vancouver on the plane and so the concept of paying money to be held (voluntarily) several feet on the air isn't exactly my idea of fun. But they dare me to do it, and althought I didn't make it to the big attractions, I did get on the roller coaster. The only time I had been on a roller coaster was like 6 years ago in Houston, TX. I remember I swore to never do that again, now I think it's not THAT bad.

That day was when I left UBC and moved to East Vancouver. I got a room in a house with great people at a good price. Before I got here though, I went to Stanley Park and Kits Beach. Everyone here has a dog, and they all take them to the beach for a walk. I always wished I lived near the water, so now that I have the chance I try to go to the beach as much as I can. I take a book with me and just stay there for a while. It's like another place completely different when I get to the beach after being downtown. It's amazing to have both options in one place.
I'll be posting some other videos later on, so if you can, come back later!
