censorship

Until quite recently I was working at a magazine from my school. It was something exhausting but really fun to do, plus I got to meet a lot of talented people. The thing is, I'm planning to go away over the summer and I need money, and since the pay there was... well, nonexistent, I quit. Besides there was the unavoidable issue of censorship that lured above us ever since we published a graphic editorial against George W. Bush being re-elected for president on Nov. 2, 2004. I honestly don't see the big deal, that's what the editor and I thought. Anyway, we stopped being free to speak our minds and so the magazine now is controlled by the school. They've changed the name, change the whole content and its purpose. I hope them well, honestly, but I have no interest whatsoever to go back.
