Hmm I think I might be doing better. It's hard to fathom this, isn't it? No complaints at all about Christmas: my family seemed functional for the most part, presents were fun both to give and to receive, food was plentiful, eggnog potent. My time in Charlotte was not nearly as boring as I expected it to be and my parents surprised me by putting a bed in my room, so I didn't have to spend a week on the couch like I did over Thanksgiving. Yesterday I made money and highly enjoyed my trip to the ATM to deposit it. Then I bought myself my Christmas presents at Best Buy: a new DVD player and a radar detector. Woohoo!
OMP showcased one of my images today which felt REALLY good because I was beginning to think that they didn't like me as a blond.
If I could just stop procrastinating packing, it looks like I really will be on the road to business and pleasure tomorrow. I'm driving to DC, and picking up Elisabeth, then we're driving together to Philly to drop off the car at another model's house before taking the bus to New York. I couldn't be more excited!
