I sat down at Barnes and Noble to study PT stuff. 10 minutes later, i felt my A.D.D. kicking in. (I dont have clinical A.D.D.) Well, since i was in a book store i felt that i should exercise my mind by grabing a magazine...wait....theres a lot non-stimulating magazines that might actually rot my brain instead. i stood staring at the magazine rack blank faced and hazy eyed trying to find a quality magazine. The playboys were a bit distrating, but my eyes quickly came into focus, and i developed tunnel vision towards one particular magazine. The cover displayed a head outlined in black and filled in yellow. In the center of the head was a hole. The hole was not a picture of a hole, but there was a hole straight through the entire magazine. The name of the magazine is "Adbusters." It was basically an anti-corporate america magazine. Basic message i got from the whole magazine was that we should start to think for ourselves and not let others dictate our mood or actions.

How can the richest country in the world be less happy then a country that has nothing?
As income increases, so does the desire for material goods. YEA...i'm happy that i got a new pair of stillitoes. How long does that happiness last? Material goods are only happiness suppressants, a temporary drug.

We are no longer individuals of boundless thoughts. We are becoming corporately programmed robots. We are Pavlov's dogs trained by corporate america. TV says you should drive a Hummer, you buy a hummer, TV says you should have golden locks of hair, you dye your hair blond. TV says you should drink Skyy Blue, you drink skyy blue. So...are you now the rock star or movie god that they protrayed you should be?
Should we all look the same? Should we all think the same?

In nature mutation causes diversity. genetic adaptation spawns from diversity. genetic adaptation leads to evolution. Changes and diversity of thinking evolves the brain. We should all continue to think and question things around us. Dont become a generation of mindless robots following protocols.
