X-mas
Good news!
I have survived X-mas;-)
This is most deffenitly not my favorite part of the year. Don't get me wrong, I love the trees, the lights, candles, hot choco, food. But I am not a great fan of the must-go-there-and-have-fun-eat-a-lot-socials. I missed the work-x-mas-social-lets-all-have-lunch-and-be-merry due to having a bad cold and staying at home with a fever. But I won a citytrip (how do you call one of these things in english) It's a stay in a hotel/appartment for 2 people anywhere I want with a maximum price off 500 euro's. That is a really fun price to win;-)
Friday I had lunch at my sisters house with our Mum and Dad and my sisters hubby and kids. And this time nobody (read my sister) stressed out. It was a lot of fun. She and her kids had prepared a high tea.
Saturday I went to S to have a x-mas "diner" with the leather family. That was a blast. We played dice trying to win prezzies, watched the south park x-mas special, watched the simpsons, had discussion and I almost forgot, we also had diner;-)
I won green labels to put on something, a green rubber toy with a multi coulored flashlight (looks kind of like a pufferfish-thingy) and a purple bracelet. The price everybody was after was a book with the works of Eric Stanton. I missed out on that one, but today I bought the last copy at a bookstore (Sleghte).
Today I also had to work and I feel very tired now. After work I did some shopping. I mainly bought next years X-mas decorations. Green, silver, aqua and purple balls and thingies like birds and harts.
