We have Aiba (A) and Ninomiya (N) appear on last episode of the series. And guess what, miraculously they also the ones make appearance on the first episode! They’re supposed to make Ohno’s request “please recreate the theme you had 12 years ago!” into reality but as they enter that nostalgic set, they begin talking to each other and immediately start sort of quizes to pictures of Arashi’s CD jacket.
Having the two strongest Arashi-lovers on last episode is not merely coincidence. It’s destiny (laughs).
A: today’s set is filled with pictures of CD’s jacket released during this series. If I think it again, we surely have plenty!
N: we’re having a little difficulty to guess which is which if the title is covered (laughs). But you know what… actually, we do it for the sake of entertainment, don’t we…?
A: of course, we do it on purpose (laughs)! (checking on the page of the first episode). So we have “Love” as the first and last theme, right… Twelve years ago, I seemed to define you as “skillful enthusiasm”. Now as we went together a lot to see movies or dramas, we tend to share the same interest and that makes me happy. And, Nino you define as someone who unskillfully stick to nothing.
N: so, I said the opposite thing, then… Now, I guess Aiba-kun is a hardworker. You work a lot as from regular variety to hosting music show.
A: thank you so much (blushed). Now about Matsujun, we said that he’s “DoS-look but kind-hearted” or “he will give you medicine if you’re sick”
N: these days, he will take the front seat when it comes to our SNS work or foreign affair.
A: that’s why he’s got frequent meetings or contact either with staff or involved parties. Sho-chan from twelve years ago was “brilliant but silly (laughs)”. Isn’t it rude to say “while doing karaoke, he seems to need bath towel to wipe his sweat” (laughs)?
N: (looking into the page) that’s your lines, right (laughs). And Sho-chan, whenever you’re with him, you can see how he’s a cheerful person. For Ohno-san, “he will do anything including not to rest before doing what he loves” or “He loves night-fishing after work”. So, he already loved fishing ever since this series began.
A: then years after, Ohno-san no longer puts on his shoes.
N: Yep, even in the mid-winter, he often wears sandals. Is it fine if we put it as his charming point (laughs)!? (turn his head) if we talk something serious about Arashi, there are stuff that don’t go as we have planned and it’s quite unfortunate for us. But we know, it’s not only us. These days, many people out there are facing the same problem.
A: Right. The situation is difficult, lately. We just make the best of everything we have. (seeing all the past episodes) So, this series has run for 12 years… we’re allowed to continue in such a long run. I think Nino and I are always in charge of dealing with crucial episodes like vol. 1, vol. 100, and vol. 150.
N: you’re right. Even though, we don’t aim for it. As expected of the strongest pair of Arashi love.
