Matsumoto Jun X Aiba Masaki
Vol. 117
[Arashi and Plane]
As instructed by Ohno-kun, [After a long time, please redo the vehicle series with airplane this time], Matsumoto-kun and Aiba-kun take hand luggage, board the plane and sit next to each other. They have conversation, resting, etc…. that’s how they make it real. After completing the “Magazine Air-travel” they let us know the their first air-travel and current way of spending in-flight time.
Reading books or enjoying meal.. we are fully satisfied with our own private time on a plane..
相葉 : we’re all excited when it comes to airplane, aren’t we? My first experience with airplane was family-trip to “Guam” during my junior high school days. I remember the moment it took off, how it went against the gravity, and I was like screaming [uwaaaa~] (laughs)
松本 : I got no experience with it until I started my job. The first was in my frst half of being teenage, at our seniors’ concert in Fukuoka. Since it was more like merely a transport and not travelling so I was so tensed as not to trouble people around.
相葉 : we had more opportunities in getting on a plane as we grew up, right.. the five of us just came back from our work in Hokkaido for a commercial filming.. just like in this shooting, we often sit towards each other.
松本 : each of us totally had the time of one’s own so surprisingly we didn’t really had much conversation there..
相葉 : if it’s a domestic or a short-ride, I’d prefer to sleep instantly after boarding..
松本 : that’s same for all of us, right? (laughs) but if it’s a long flight.. I’d rather read a book or listen to rakugo (=traditional Japanese comic story-telling)
相葉 : (surprised) heee… rakugo!?
松本 : listening rakugo on a plane is quite relaxing somehow.. and for books, I prepare around five books with varied genre and I’ll read the one that fits my mood..
相葉 : it’s having meal or watching movie for me… fully enjoying the plane-service.. for the other members, it’s not so different with normal transportation, I guess.. for leader, he would love to sleep, wouldn’t he.. (laughs)
松本 : sometimes, Nino is sticking with his game.. and Sho-kun love reading newspaper.. I think that’s agreeable..
相葉 : is there any stuff you can’t fail to have on the plane?
松本 : stuff like eye-mask or glasses, perhaps..
相葉 : I have nothing in particular for that.. and for clothes, I’ll just put on plain T-shirt and jeans..
松本 : there are people who love changing their clothes on plane but because I hate doing that, I choose to wear soft material or the one that is hard to worn out of shape.. and lately, I have something in mind to ask you.. aiba-kun, I just wonder how far you use your sandals from home..
相葉 : hmm.. I think I’m fine with it even if I go overseas.. and talking about that.. I guess you’re the only one that puts on shoes on plane so often..
松本 : I personally love wearing shoes for a long-ride but the other day, I got no problem wearing sandal as we’re heading to Osaka and I think I will try to do it again for a longer ride.. And if we talk about plane, I love the airport as well.. Japan has lots of beautiful airports with excellent services and we feel relieved as we leave the airport..
相葉 : no complaints.. they also have many well-known shops which are interesting to visit.. and lately I feel grateful that we’re able to reach multiple places in short time because of planes..
松本 : so let’s keep on making tons of memories as we continually ride on planes..
