"Filling in between work with lots of soba"

This time is about “soba” coming from Ohno-kun’s idea that is [having the gourmet plan with Arashi’s most-wanted food]. As to show the natural expression, what lies ahead of them is standing-eating soba shop. It’s Sakurai Sho and Aiba Masaki being salary man and ordering quick-meal. Begin with selecting menu until the said-after-meals greetings, as each scene is shown, let’s take a look on their expression.

Percentage of Arashi’s soba-meal is pretty high, you know..

A : this time, we’ve got such a delicious project, right.. but I’ve never thought there would be standing-eating shop for Nonno.
S : definitely.. and it’s a shop visited mainly by male customers though sometimes we could see women  as well.
A : it’s a manly-shop then or should I say strongly-shop, and it’s cool I think.. Sho-chan, have you ever been to this kind of shop, lately?
S : I have. I’ve spent around half of a week to eat there at lunch time.
A : that much? So you’re a regular customer then.. (laughs)
S : started from ordering until the serving, they have such a speedy service for someone impatient like me. And I’m so thankful for that. I’d say it’s fast food for adults..
A : it’s been a while for me to visit the shop. Perhaps, it’s the first time to eat  while standing like this. Mostly, I just ordered takeaway. What I order today is seaweed soba which is my favourite.
S : akh, you eat it oftentimes. On my side, for both breakfast and lunch , I always chose a set of deep-fat soba and mini rice-bowl. Then, I also chose either egg or tempura for topping.
A : as expected, you need to arrange it as well.. so do you have unforgettable memory about eating soba?
S : during the movie-shooting of [Kamisama no Karute] in Nagano, not only simple mori-soba, but everything with it like “sake” ( = Japanese wine) snack, and gallet made of soba-flour were also tasty..
A : (squinting his eye) yep.. soba-shop’s side dishes are good as well.. something like sobagaki or yakimiso..
S : (in serious manner) and also stuff like yakinori, right.. enjoying the side-dish first, then continue with soba and to end it with slurping the soup.. with that arrangement, I couldn’t be any happier.. !!
A : I was eating shin soba the other day.. and although it was my first time to eat it I have a feeling that I would be addicted to it.. and the other thing is our habit to eat soba in our green-room to pass the year-end during [Kouhaku].
S : yes, since all arashi members love eating soba, that’s what staf people prepared for us… I think a group with such a high-rate of eating soba is quite rare, isn’t it.. (laughs). Matsujun is a zarusoba-lover, ohno-kun and nino-kun seem to love oyakonanban soba, Aiba-kun do you eat soba at home?
A : I do, I do.. though it’s just like instant zarusoba.. to make it more enjoyable, I even prepared bamboo steamer and soup cup..
S : awesome.. what a highly lifestyle.. I could never do something like that, not even know where to get that equipment.. (laughs). I wonder since when we became such a soba-freak..
A : the second half of our twenties, don’t you think? Before that time, curry and yakiniku (= grilled-meat) were so dominant..
S : you’re right.. it brings back memories..!! gradually, we’ve been looking for something lighter and soba is the right answer, isn’t it..
A : yep.. our lives are relying on it.. so start from now, please treat me well.. (laughs)

note :
Soba = buckwheat noodle
Zarusoba and morisoba = cold noodle in a way that the noodle is placed seperately from soup
Shin soba = freshly harvested buckwheat which is sweeter and more flavorful
Oyako nanban soba = hot noodle placed together with the soup
