★ mod applications
Because you never know when Life will throw you lemons and demand you make it a kickass pitcher of lemonade, I'm looking for a co-mod to help me run this community. Ideally, two co-mods would be nice, however we'll see how much interest there is. As it's nearing September and a number of participants might have school coming up, I'll keep applications open for the better part of the month, to give people time to adjust to their new schedules and to help them better judge the time commitment they can/are willing to make.
Applications will run from today through Monday, September 20th. I will review applications during that week, and the new co-mod(s) will be announced hopefully by the following Saturday, and no later than the end of the month.
Any member of the community may apply! Previous experience is not necessary =)
NAME/ALIAS: What may I call you? I'm Ro, by the way, which is short for Rowan. I'd like to know what to call you other than your username, since we'll be working closely and all =)
JOURNAL: I'd assume you're commenting with the journal you would use for modding, but just in case, what's your journal name?
WHY DO YOU WANT TO MOD AT?: Pretty straight forward question; basically, why do you want to co-run this community? What compelled you to fill this out?
TIME AVAILABLE: How much time will you be able to devote to modding here? What specific dates in the future do you know you won't be available for? If you have certain dates you're aware of that you'd be unable to post, that won't affect whether I accept your application or not, just that it's nice to know ahead of time when you won't be around. The earlier advance notice there is, the better! I'll also do my best to make sure my co-mod is aware of the days I won't be around as well =)
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: If you've never moderated an icontest before, that will NOT affect my decision. I'd just like to know how familiar you are with running an icontest and what you may or may not need help with. Also, feel free to include non-icon communities you've run in the past.
OTHER: Anything else you think I ought to know about you? What would you like me to keep in mind when I consider your application?
