ooooommmmmmffffgggggg A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
so yesterday i finished my hw rather early, and i was bored so i decided to check out what concerts are playing in the local area, and i saw that Ben Kweller and The Unicorns were playing that night almost right near the campus. So i decided to spend 20 bucks on a concert that i thought was going to be mediocre/ bad. But nothing prepared me to be soo shocked about how GREAT AND WONDERFUL BEN KWELLER WAS!!! omg im soo in love right now. His cd's arent nearly as AMAZING as he was live...and he is soo adorbale when he pounds on his little keyboard and belts out his seemingly meaningless lyrics. He reminds me of Charlie Brown- but with much morre personality and humor. People always say that AFI, thursday, and thrice are goood live- but in my opinion nothing compares to how terrific Ben was. And the venue was probably no bigger than the bottom floor of my house (= small) so everything was sooo personal. To make things even better- he is emo with a cowboy flair which is oddly attractive- and now im obsessed. I know this statement is corny - and probably dosnt really mean anything becuase its so over- used but words cannot describe how awesome the show was last night.....i really cant get over it.
The Unicorns were cool- but i think by the time ben started singing- i was too over- whelmed by greatness to remeber anything about them.
