2006...
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before? actually FINISHED. Finished finished a comic endeavor.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? All but the one about not being ridiculous in regards to women. I didn't uh...I didn't fulfill that one. Maybe this year, eh?
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Nope nope nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die? uh, same answer. The wheel of life/death remained stationary for me this year.
5. What countries did you visit? Not even Canada. what kind of shit is that?! Not Even Fucking Canada. Awwww, fuck Canada anyhow.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006? An encyclopedic knowledge of Russian folktales?
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Blood brothers? Both nights of it? Murder by Death? I don't remember the dates though. None I guess then. But those were great shows.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? My comic. I am not going to stop guys, you will have to deal with this. And my grades I suppose. I can actually be proud of them this semester. Awesome.
9. What was your biggest failure? I never did learn to play the trombone and flute simultaneously. That really chaps my ass.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Not me, good sir. Not me.
11. What was the best thing you bought? comics. A lot of them.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Wunetu's. Becuase she was/is alive, and that was/is a great move on her part.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Probably Benjamin Hyland's on more than one occassion.
14. Where did most of your money go? I made some poor investment choices...But seriously, how was I to know spegghettiosoap wouldn't sell? It was SOLID GOLD.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? the nameless hardcore band, the future. COMICS. FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
16. What song will always remind you of 2006? SET FIRE TO THE FACE ON FIRE!!!!
17. Compared to this time last year, are you...
i. happier or sadder? I was pretty happy last year, but if I can be sort of sickeningly optimistic I think things are just getting better for me, moodwise.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner I've been told, but I don't know that it's true.
iii. richer or poorer? bout the same. BROKE.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Having serious, reckless amounts of fun All the Time.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Pining over chicks who just seriously weren't and aren't worth it. Not to say that's gonna change, I just wish there'd been less of that.
20. How will you be spending Christmas? Spent it with family, and worrying for my father. IT was not a great Christmas Day
22. Did you fall in love in 2006? With many a thing, and many a person, but thankfully none of it was so terribly devastating.
24. What was your favorite TV program? Firefly. And scrubs. God what a great show.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't think I do. Awesome.
26. What was the best book you read? Well I only started reading Pratchett this last semester, so that has got to be up there.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery? I made a lot in recent months. a LOT. Thanks to all of my great college friends, and my own sweet sense of enjoyment.
28. What did you want and get? A top hat and a sense of direction.
29. What did you want and not get? Some professional comics contacts.
30. What was your favorite film of this year? I have no idea. Little Miss Sunshine of course was great. Seriously Seriously good. I guess I'd have to say that. Although I saw Apocolypto yesterday and it was Amazing.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Wine Women and song, or at least as close as we could come with our limited time and resources. I was 19 years old.
32. What's one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? If she hadn't been batshit crazy.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? I want to be a dandy. That is all want. That is IT.
34. What kept you sane? musics. I would have to say that that is the thing.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? mmmmit is hard to say.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? probably the environment. Look. It is Minnesota, and there was no snow until damn near JANUARY!!! IT is impossible to ignore now!
37. Who did you miss? Almost everyone I know, at some point or another
38. Who was the best new person you met? Who did I meet this year? my puppy! Sancho Panza!
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006: If you eat a chili pepper, you should be prepared to be uncomfortable. It is INEVITABLE.

How many girlfriends/boyfriends? One
How many breakups? One.
How many crushes? 2 or 3 pretty significant ones. Still trying to chew on the gristle of this last one.
Care to mention names? Nicole, refuse to comment because of irrelevence, refuse to comment because of Signficant relevence.
Had to say goodbye to? Being passionless, directionless, and skilless.
Win anything? A trivia contest!
Best place you went to? It was likely New York City. I really am quite fond of that place.
Worst place you went to? BUFFALO NEW YORK IS SUCH A MISERABLE PLACE.
How was your birthday? Reasonably freaking sweet.
Best present? For birthday? awesome camera. for Christmas: "you're gay" mug from Nick. YES!!

FAVORITES OF THE YEAR
Album: In Bocca al Lupo by Murder by Death. No question.
Month: I'd have to say November was pretty bitchin. I really knew what I was doing in Nevember. it was a nice time.
Hope for the next year: That I can find an internship or something otherwise equally productive to do with my time.
Clothing item or outfit of the year: my sweet ass giant kakhis from Kenna.
Jewelry of the year: I really don't pay much attention. My new venetian mask?
Makeup product of the year: probably charcoal and pastels. I've had those on my face far more often than any actual makeupy things.
Color of the year: I like green.
Car of the year: Do I still have a bike?
Boy of the year: was this year rife with awesome boys? Somehow I think it wasn't.
Food of the year: My dining hall sandwich.
Drink of the year: COFFEE.
Class of the year: Sophomore drawing, oddly enough.
Recreational activity of the year: kung-fu and zombie moives. ALL the TIME.
Means of Communication of the year: I guess my phone? Most likely?
Holiday of the year: Totally halloween. That day, and all the celebrations for it, and the resulting 'Whopper Saga" were amazing.
