Joohyun kissed her older sister goodbye,she's going to the Chinese restaurant,that's where she works at.While Miyoung,is an author of children's books.Joohyun clutched her shoulder bag and steered right instead of left.She always goes that way instead of the shortcut her fellow waitress had pointed out to her.Well,you see,she got her eye on this musician. Joohyun still clearly remembers the guy's name.Jung Yonghwa she thought sheepishly.Joohyun headed south while she was humming.She's going to see him again.She was singing quietly,yet contented,until someone snatched her shoulder bag.The robber hadn't got it yet,for Joohyun was clutching it oh so hard.
"Do you want to get hurt?Huh,little sonyuh?" said the robber. Joohyun shooked her head,fear overwhelming her.
"But,it's mine ahjus--"
"Then give me the damn bag!" the robber tugged at her bag,no,she didn't let it go.
"What's with all the racket?" Yonghwa had heard the commotion from the stool he was practicing his new song.Yonghwa,has this crush on Joohyun for years.But,he's a coward,he can't go up to Joohyun's doorstep and confess his feelings for her.He was startled to hear Joohyun's pleading voice and a man's voice.
"Y-yonghwa-ssi.." Joohyun started
"Oh,you called your boyfriend lil' girl?"
"Give that back to her.Now."
"Oh,i'm scare--" the robber hadn't finish his sentence because Yonghwa had threw a punch onto his nose,and the bad thing is, his nose bled."I'll get back to you,you douche!And watch yourself,little girlie." and with that,the robber sprinted away.Yonghwa turned to the pale Joohyun,who was hiding behind him.They locked gazes,Joohyun's mouth went dry.Yonghwa's mind went haywire."Ummm,You okay?" Yonghwa finally got rid of the fuzz in his head.
"Yeah,uh,i,thank you very much.You,um,you we're brave back there."Joohyun answered with a sheepish yet cute smile.
"Anytime." Yonghwa smiled back. "Well,uh,yeah,thanks again.Um,i gotta go?,yeah i do 'cause i have work." Joohyun pointed out."I'll walk you to where you work.Do you mind me joining?"
"Oh,of course no.Let's go then?" Joohyun said.
Joohyun was daydreaming.Again.We all know what she's daydreaming and who she's daydreaming.It was lunch break.She was really distracted by thoughts of Yonghwa.Saving her,like she was a damsel in distress and he's the knight in the shimmering shiny armor.The thoughts of it was really distracting,so distracting,she spilled soup onto an ahjumma,elbowed a woman,stumbled over her own foot.She slapped her forehead a lot."Aishaishaish.Stop being a babo Joohyun!" she said to herself in the locker room.
"You lovesick?" Tao was leaning at the door frame,one brow raised elegantly.Huang Zi Tao,aka:Tao,son of the restaurant owner,capable of Wushu( he learned Wushu for 11 years),Joohyun's friend.
"Guess so.."
"Wow.This is the first time around.Joohyun inlove!What has the world had come to?"Tao said,slightly flailing.Joohyun said nothing,she just laughed."Now,now,jiejie,who is this lucky guy?Hm?Tell me." Tao asked,curious.
"You know the musician,down the block?"
"Oh,you mean Yong..Yong...Yongjin?"
"No!Who's Yongjin anyway?It's Yonghwa,not Yongjin." Joohyun said matter-of-a-factly.Tao nodded,taking in the new information.Joohyun looked of a distance,and grinned.He saved me from a robber.We locked gazes.I had my strength to tell him what i feel but i lost that strength.I lost my guts. "EARTH TO JOOHYUN!HELLO!" Tao shouted in Joohyun's ear,which made the girl jump a little.Joohyun turned to look to Tao and slapped his shoulder."YAHH!Didn't your parents teach you not to shout at someone's else ear?Aish.." Joohyun stared off to space and daydreamed again.
Joohyun was walking home.Still cherishing the moment they had shared together.Joohyun headed to Miyoung's office.Joohyun always goes home first than her unnie.She wants to give her unnie a little surprise.
