leaving the internet alone for now
I finished voting today and I want a receipt. The punch cards seem really dated, I do not trust the government to properly record my vote. I think I should be able to get a receipt after finishing the voting process to indicate my vote has successfully been recorded. Going to poll location is interesting because it gives me a chance to run into community members I have not seen in years.
Sitting here at the airport waiting for my flight connection. Its sad but checking my email for 5 dollars does'nt seem like a bad way to kill fifteen minutes. If its really important they will call me and I will be home late tonight to check email. I am now writing this in an attempt to fill my mind with something rather than looking for email. Hope I can fall asleep on the plane to LAX, ahh the power of benedryl.
