Its been a while, hasn't it?
The biggest news is that "T" was fired. Oh Happy Happy Day!
He was actually fired last Thursday. And its amazing how much better everyone at work is feeling now that he's gone. Towards the end, he had tried to start a fight with me, and made some vague threats to me, about getting the "guilty parties punished" and that he was "not going to take it anymore" and was "going to do something about it" ("it" apparently being that he felt he should be allowed to pick and choose whatever work he thought was easiest for himself, and was fed up with us doing only 98% of the hard work) So, all that angst is over. And I sure hope he never gets another photography job again. If there really is such a thing as karma, he will never work again. Certainly, anyone that looks at his portfolio would be a fool to hire him.
My Mom has moved into a new house, in my subdivision, half a mile away. I have been constantly back and forth there, cleaning, walking her dog, running her errands.... dammit! I'd like to beat my sister for finding her a house this close to me.
the kitties are all good. Max, the outside kitty we stole from the neighbors, has settled into a routine of sleeping outside at night, and while we are not home, but otherwise comes in and lounges on the couch and cuddles with us.
Next month is vacation time. Shannon and I have booked a beach front hotel room near Cocoa Beach. We intend to spend a few days doing nothing but watching the waves. Bliss....
Now I just need to lose a few pounds before the "wearing of the swimsuit".
