[The communicator turns on because Iji dropped it; it shows some buildings and the sky. Off-screen, Iji is hissing in pain, and begins to curse. She eventually picks it up, and when she does, her face is seen; there's a small dark pink spot on her face, right between her eyebrows.]

What the hell was that? Who did that?

...Maybe. I did hear a pop from somewhere right before I got hit, so it would make sense.

[It switches to video from... whatever they were using. The pink spot on Iji's forehead has faded to a paler pink.]

Nope. I guess it must have come from behind, or I just didn't notice it.

[She turns it on video again and points at a spot on the sidewalk.]

Actually, could you give me a location, Pardner? I was hoping to look at the scene myself. This happened before and I didn't find anything fit for the buzzards the last place I looked.
