So I have a few. Got my ears pierced (of course) when I was in second grade after pleading for about a year. Then I got them pierced again in 11th grade, but decided to be a rebel and get both the piercings in the same ear, so 3 in one, one in the other. Then after I got out of the army, it was a piercing extravaganza - ears pierced again, this time in both ears, then I pierced one ear (same one with the most holes), then one afternoon, my roommate and I sat on my parents porch and proceeded to pierce the cartilage of our ears. He still had his, I took mine out shortly thereafter. Then I got my naval pierced around my bday that year. So at that point, I had 5 holes in the left ear, 2 in the right, and one in my naval. So time goes by and living in South Carolina provides ample opportunity to show off my midriff jewelry. Then I got pregnant with O'Bryen and took it out at about 6 or 7 months preg. So then I had a hole that never closed up above my belly button, which O'Bryen understood as me having two. Then in Dec I got my nose pierced and life was good. But I still had this damn hole above my naval, that actually closed on the inside, but not the outside. But then I learned that piercings don't actually close up, they just shrink. So this evening I decided what the hell, lets see if I can get it to open. I kept my ring all these years, who knows why, but was actually able to get it in! I tried in the past and never was able to do it. So now it's in, it's sore, and it's tender, but I'm determined to keep it! I'll try to get a barbell for it instead of this hoop, so my skin can stretch easier. And will use lots of tea tree oil on it as well as the schnoz, which is being irritated due to these hellacious allergies right now. But yeah, who knew!
