Things to do today:
1. Redo my yuletide sign-up (yes, again).
And, okay, the dilemma is that one of my requests is super obscure, and no one else has signed up to write it, so it's basically a wasted request. But am I happy with three requests rather than four? Should I replace it with something else? I do have backup requests, naturally. But maybe I only want three requests, because then there's a greater chance of getting something I really want. THIS IS MY DILEMMA. Life is so hard.
2. Finish the wacky happy epic AU threesome fic of doom. It has EATEN MY BRAIN and I want it back.
3. NaNo.
4. This is not a thing to do, rather an observation:
You guys, in my heart of hearts, I truly believe that the greatest HIMYM/House crossover would be the one where Chase was a teen pop star in Australia.
Robby Chase and Robin Sparkles.
I'm just saying.
(Like so he hooked up with Robin when his whirlwind mall tour of Canada coincided with hers, right? (Before he moved on to Scandinavia which, along with Canada and Australia, are the only places his one song made the charts.) And all these years later Robin ends up at PPTH for whatever reason and he's all ROBIN SPARKLES WE TOTALLY MADE OUT WHEN WE WERE SIXTEEN. And she would be all YOU WERE A REBOUND FROM MY AWESOME BOYFRIEND JAMES VAN DER BEEK. BUT YOU STILL HAVE GREAT HAIR.)
Oh! Oh! Oh!
AND THEN House finds out about Chase's secret past and tracks down his bad eighties music videos and uploads them to youtube only his evil plan backfires because all the women in the hospital are suddenly all about Chase, hitting on him in droves, and everywhere House goes he encounters staff walking around humming the songs and talking about how dreamy Chase is. And House is all BUT I AM THE ONLY ROCKSTAR AT PPTH.
And everyone would laugh at his ensuing identity crisis and it would be awesome. Meanwhile, Barney would hit on everyone, natch, and Ted would ask Thirteen out and she would be like, 'um, no. But that Robin Sparkles chick is hot.'
P.S. I was totally listening to 'Sheets of Egyptian Cotton' when I had this revelation.
