Heh! This is possibly the first entry to the Apocalypse_Kree ficathon that didn't make me want to cry.

All along, I kept thinking, yep, this is exactly the way Sam and Rodney's first 'date' should go :) I really loved their interactions, and of course Rodney's pov of the situation, because he is just too entertaining when he's afraid for his life.

And Sam + shotgun? Absolutely perfect!

Oh, and I have to echo the commentor above about Sheppard and Mitchell. These two are just sinfully good together. And how much do I love you for having Rodney miss Ronon and his gun in the bar scene?

I agree with every other comment here, this was wonderful and a great antidote for all the tear-jerker stories the ficathon has produced. The dialogue was spot-on, Rodney begins out Sam's snarky side so brilliantly. :D And the last line! Great work!
