Life Passing

Time is passing (as it tends to do), but it seems to be passing too quickly. There are things I wanted to do that I thought I had more time for. I still have time, but far less of it now. It's only personal timetables I'm failing to keep, this isn't me trying to break it gently that I'm dying or anything like that.

August was a blur. I suppose that's because most of the first half of the month was spent at work, or on the road. I squeezed in a daytrip to Baltimore for Otakon, in and around day 2 and day 3 or what ended up being a 12-day workweek. I muddled through that, then died for two days, only to return to work on the third day ( sounds familiar?), and then the Matrimony Road Trip, and home and back to work again. After that, the rest of the month was dull.

I had a great close to my workweek Tuesday, but I can't quite do the same here tonight at the start of a new week. Even on a Friday, Monday is universal.
