What day is it?

Today is Monday, right? Saturday felt like Sunday and Sunday didn't feel like much of anything. Six-day workweeks will do that, I guess. The last few days have been slow, which makes sense, considering the holiday weekend. I had forgotten that the WWII memorial dedication was this weekend, so all of my commutes into and out of DC have been full of tourists and war vets here for the sights.

Lilly got out for awhile last night, which meant that I was late to work. Luckily I didn't have to call out, though I would have if she hadn't come home when she did. Next time I should put her supper outside of whichever door she left from, to see if she comes home quicker. The front door is easier to watch, which is why i staked that one out. Of course, she comes to the *back* door. I just happened to be checking for her when she strolled back in. All's well that ended well, but I was still displeased with the little brat. I wasn't about to leave her outside, but her timing was pretty horrible overall.

All of the pubtrans is running on a Sunday schedule, but I'm just glad it's running at all.
