Author's Notes: SOMETHING NOT KINGDOM HEARTS FROM JOANNA! *gasp* hehe. This came out right after finishing the fight episodes of KHR. Gokudera is absoultely one of my favorite characters now, because of his passion for everything, including Tsuna (not romantic per say, just...yea.), and the training episodes made me feel for him. Anyway. The writing rhymes a lot...and I'm not even sure people will get how it relates to "obsession" unless they've watched KHR, but hey, its my interpretation. I don't even like this that much. :/

Passion.
He doesn't want to give up on it; too soon, to tight, to much weighing down on this one decision. He throws and explodes - fingers nimble and ready - an infinte number that nobody knows, and he's not going to give up. Its bigger and better and faster and stronger - he can taste it - the power - and he knows that there's only one chance for tenth. His blood may be spilt - a price he's more than willing to pay, because Juudaime is the only one that matters - but oblivion awaits around the corner, and he can't do it alone. He would but he can't, because it all rests on this, and he knows without help, he can't do it alone.
And yet he keeps going - I'm not going to give up, not going to give up! - because he can do it for the tenth; he can do it for the tenth because thats all that matters when your the right hand man. He picked me - he cares for me - and we're going to get out of this together. The human bomb won't be defeated again - it'll be that way forever. Just jump and thust and throw and fire - aim and hit and thats all he desires. Forget the rest, go on and fight - death is feared only by the weak.
You just don't learn.
The words still burn in the depths of his soul - he knew it's what mattered most, he knew it - because thats the one thing he keeps forgetting. Forget your own life - selfless, he figured, because its only the tenth that matters - give your soul to the setting. Bright and burning and raring to go - but if he dies, it doesn't matter - hell it doesn't - no. He's waiting for him, not for his victory - not his bombs or blasts or his strength, but his heart. You've gotta live though it to matter.
He understands.
He'll do it. Not for glory or reconition - not for the power, or even the ring, but for the tenth. He'll learn it, calm and cool and collected not rash - won't throw himself around - treat him like trash - because juudaime and Vongola are everything to him. He might be hurt, and he might be dying, but its all worth it, if he keeps trying. Because when you have a fire you don't let it out, and you're protective and ready and anything's the norm.
This moment, indeed, was the calm before the storm.
