Author's Notes: I was tired when I wrote it, so forgive the crappy-ness Joanne. But good lord, I thought I lost the writing when my computer shut down because we used too much power. THANK GOD FOR AUTOSAVE~ and hehe, I tried to include the "drivers license" part of your prompt best I could bb.
"Oh come on man, you're the first one to sixteen! You have to get it!"
Riiggght.
Hayner slammed on the breaks in the car, jerking the contents of his cup into his lap, thus causing various expletives to string out of his mouth as he tried to get the hot drink off himself. Olette, who had to stop herself from laughing squealed and pressed her hands into the dashboard, and Pence - well Pence was in the back trying not to bring up the lunch they'd had the hour before.
"Hayyynnnerrr!!"

They couldn't understand why it was so hard for him; Olette had spent hours guiding him though the handbook, and showing him exactly what each part of the car did. Pence told him everything there was to know about the electronics in the car - from the radio to the windshield wipers - and even threw in a couple new features for when he got it right. And yet, even with everyone's help, Hayner couldn't drive the car for the life of him; slamming on the breaks and skidding down roads and passing up red lights every time one appeared.
He only had three days before he took the driving part of his drivers test, and frankly, it wasn't looking good.

"NO BACK SEAT DRIVING!!"
Hayner yelped at them, muttering though injured pride. He turned away from them, focusing on pressing the gas petal to move them past the light. They started to move, rather well actually, and Olette felt a surge of relief when he actually stopped at the next light. It was going alright - until a cat ran straight in front of the car, eyes wide and nervous.
"SCCRREEEECCCHHHH!!!"
bam!
