Author's Notes: Just a test for the comm. A little drabble I wrote a little while ago, out of boredom.
They prepare themselves as their bodies writhe in the sheets, fingers intertwining as the air fills with sweet musk. Slick with sweat and cold to the touch, the pale skin covered in goose bumps moves quickly, squirming against the heat of the other; giving his body and soul to his lover before he leaves. Loud moans and small sighs fill the air again; the calm of the night no longer still as they move together, looking, searching for their peak; the bruised crescents on the fiery redhead's back marks of the pent up anger and confusion of his younger lover. As they come together, one last time, the final embrace and touch of the one that completes them, they remember it all. They remember the friendship; the understanding; the unexplained emotions that have brought the "unfeeling" nobodies together for so long; showing each other the way they've felt in the only way they know how. One last thrust sends them both into the farthest stretches of oblivion, piercing green eyes meeting warm azure ones for the last time; a midnight tryst to signal their depart; the end of the the deadly game that they played. The illusion of emotion floods them both one last time as they cling to each other, eyes closed and bodies intertwined; enjoying the finality of what they have just done...one last time.
