[When you pick up the receiver you may hear the shuffling of pages as the first noise. But, not a moment later, a voice begins to speak.]

Christmas is one of the last holidays celebrated in America before New Years and the best is saved for last. It originated from the nativity scene, commemorating the birth of the messiah in the Christian religion, Jesus Christ. The story also describes how Three Wise Men went to the east to visit the nativity scene, following the North Star to guide them. This is why Christmas trees, like the ones in our houses, are normally topped off with a star. Christmas is so popular that a lot of people who are Christian or religious celebrate it.

The popularity in it also brings a major figure - the man in the red suit. Santa Claus, or Saint Nicholas, or Kris Kringle or even Father Christmas. He is said to be an immortal who can fly around at top speeds, riding a sleigh pulled by eight reindeer. Nine with the addition of the most popular, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. But Rudolph was actually an add on addition, after the 1939 song of the same name, and was not one of the original eight reindeer. Either way, Santa visits the children all over the world and gives them either coal or a present, depending on whether you've been naughty or nice.

......

I wonder if the stores in Mayfield have discount merchandise. I can't remember the last time I celebrated Christmas, but if anybody wants something specific then I wouldn't mind buying it as a present.

[A few more pages are shuffled, until she speaks again.] Professor America, is this good? I did my best to compile all my knowledge of the holiday, but I'm not sure if it's enough. I hope I didn't forget anything important... If I missed something then please make sure to tell me. I want to celebrate Christmas in the most efficient way possible.

[Hanekawa can be seen around Mayfield during the week at the following places:

A: The local stores, looking for gifts to give. She seems to be picking a lot of tacky festive sweaters, of the red and green variety. And yes they have cute patterns on them. YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO WEAR ONE.

B: Out in the park she found a stray cat and is now feeding it some milk from a bottle, both which she quickly bought at the general store, while holding the poor thing in her arms. Her coat is wrapped around the kitten, so she's shivering herself without any kind of jacket.

C: Outside of your house, singing such classics as

1) O Holy Night
2) We wish you a Merry Christmas
3) Jingle Bells
4) White Christmas

She also remembered about there being caroling outside of houses, so she is keeping up with the tradition. S-She might keep on singing until you tell her to shut up. If it makes you feel better, she's actually a good singer. If you like Horie Yue that is. Just specify which song you want to hear in the subject title with the option.]

all around town we go, what are filters, !phone, psa, super bookworm here, learning about holidays is fun, !action
