I AM A BIGGER DERPaitherialAugust 17 2010, 08:38:59 UTC
[ Dammit dammit dammit, the phones were no use. It looked like Senjougahara had to find Hanekawa herself. She ran as fast as she could to the post office and although the feat of getting there before her could have been easily accomplished, she was moments too late. ]
[ She makes it to her classmate's side and gently props her up. Her eyes are piercing. ]
LMAO NO WAY I AM.iinchoucatAugust 17 2010, 08:40:59 UTC
[Hanekawa closes her eyes, trying to compose herself and keep away from that gaze. But when she tries to tell her classmate what's wrong nothing comes out of her mouth.]
I DO IT TOO SOMETIMES SO ITS OKAY FFiinchoucatAugust 17 2010, 08:51:56 UTC
[That comment makes her frown slightly, only because she likes cats and wouldn't do anything to make one want to take her tongue away. At least she hopes not.
Her hands slip off her throat so that the other can have a better view of it. She's completely unharmed physically. Emotionally and mentally? Well that's a different story. Her head shakes slightly to make that clear.]
[ She feels something in her throat as well, but it is nothing like what Hanekawa is experiencing. ]
I came to warn you. [ She pauses. Her face is void of emotion but it is just as difficult for her to say it as much as any other person would. She looks away from Hanekawa. ]
I should have been more prompt at delivering my word of caution. I understand that an apology is not enough for you to forgive me. Hate the town as much as you like. [ ... ] And hate me as much as you like.
don't worry bbiinchoucatAugust 17 2010, 09:08:52 UTC
[Hanekawa doesn't show anything on her face while Hitagi talks. But once she says that last bit her face quickly turns to the other and pulls on her arm, giving her a rather stern look and shaking her head a bit more quicker this time. She then mouths "I don't hate you" as best as she can so the other can understand what she's saying.
This is her fault. She won't let Hitagi take the blame for her own selfish actions. She was warned and she did it anyway. That is something she will deal with.]
[She blinks a couple times, but nods just once. It's fine - she didn't expect to be excused for her actions, especially from someone like Hitagi.
But she does mouth a "I'm sorry" because she made the other worry about her. She has her own problems to deal with and she's only been here for less than a month. Making her freak out feels wrong.]
[At her words Hanekawa kneels down to gather her items and picks herself up with them cradled in her arms. Her original pair of glasses and a pair of pajamas underneath them, with the cap she totally stole from Nadeko off screen inside the folds.
...She looks down at them rather bashfully. Yes go ahead and mock her, she lost her voice over glasses and pajamas.]
[Her head lifts up a bit to meet the other in the eyes. Sanctions? What, losing her voice isn't enough? She blinks in confusion and tentatively shakes her head only slightly.]
[She sees that smile Senjougahara and she isn't too amused. What is with you people and violence being the answer. Her eyes look down again to her items.
Is she happy? ...Well slightly. The glasses Mayfield provided weren't always efficient and even having some small memento of her past life with her feels very comforting. So she gives a rather meek nod. She would like to have her voice back, but she's sure there's some way to get it returned. The town returned things to them once, so surely they will do it again.

You will tell me what is wrong.

I suppose sayings about cats catching tongues are inappropriate at this time.
But you are not hurt. [ She checks Hanekawa's neck for wounds. ]

[ She then closes her eyes and plainly states, ] I do not forgive you for being careless.
However, grudges are useless at a time like this and I have no control over your decisions.

And these are what you received in return?

You are aware of the sanctions for it.

The most I can hope for is that happy for what you have regained, Hanekawa-san.
