Really? Everyone thought this episode was good? I thought it was the worst one yet! On the one hand, I'm glad people will be watching next week, but on the other, I'm scared that people think that the first two episodes were as bad as the third.

Here are my unorganized thoughts about the episode:

PROS:
-There were two funny lines.
-I liked that Viktor was a doll.
-I like the idea that FBI's neighbour might be a doll, and I like how that means that the dolls interact without realizing it.
-And further, I like the theory going around that *everyone* at Dollhouse is a doll, not just the actives.

CONS:
-The acting was terrible. (Echo *and* the singer were both terrible. "You might be able to fire me, but bitch, don't think you can take me" was especially disappointing. Oh, and "I just want to be free.")
-The writing was bad, and about as subtle as bull in a china shop. I hope the only reason this passed muster is that Joss let his brother write this episode as a favour to their mother.
-The plot was recycled and lame.
-I don't think Eliza can carry this show, and it's bumming me out.

Edited to add: I know that a lot of people think that since every "mission" she's sent on seems to goes wrong, it's not realistic that they would continue sending Echo out.  I've just realized why this doesn't bother me: I've unconsciously assumed since the beginning that they're still in beta testing.
